Fine particles have short residence times, while heavier ones have longer times. This cyclone accomplishes very effective separation, saving money and energy. The product leaves the cyclone through an airlock and a duct directed to storage or immediate use. Dryer exhaust is discharged by a fan and can be partially recycled for heat recovery.Turbulent heat transfer and thorough particle dispersion combine inside the Rotacurrent Flash Dryer for maximum thermal efficiency. The design of the column minimizes the loss of external heat radiation. Due to excellent heat transfer performance, column height and other dimensions are smaller than comparably sized, conventional dryers. As a result, building costs and insulation requirements are also lower.Because airflow moves the product rather than mechanical means, the Rotacurrent has minimal moving parts.
